The City of Richmond Planning Commission continues the discussion on the Draft Downtown Master Plan. Neighborhood meetings have taken place and citizen comments heard. Now Commission members will be considering all public feedback and make a recommendation on the Plan to Richmond City Council. The proposed Master Plan is a hopeful, yet realistic vision created by the citizens of Richmond. Seven Plan Foundations are outlined in the Plan that include:
- Variety and Choice in Housing
- The Traditional City
- Green Qualities in the City
- The River
- Urban Architecture
- History of Richmond
- Mixed-Income or Economic Diversity
You can still comment directly to Planning Commission members. All their contact information is listed below and A.C.O.R.N. encourages all Richmond citizens to contact them and let them know that you want a livable Richmond!
